Draft Regional Transport Plan

A draft Regional Transport Plan has been developed to help create a reliable, connected, affordable, convenient and accessible transport network across all communities in Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot and Pembrokeshire. Your feedback is important because whether it’s walking, wheeling, cycling, taking the bus, catching a train or driving, transport is something that affects everyone in South West Wales. Tenant Pulse

The fifth Annual Tenant Pulse Survey focuses on affordable warmth, energy efficiency, and the journey toward Net Zero housing in 2025. This survey gives tenants the chance to share their experiences and have their voices heard on issues that matter most to them – energy bills, affordable warmth. This year, the survey focuses on key areas such as Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and whether heating is affordable—essential questions for delivering homes that are truly energy efficient. These insights are vital in helping us, and your organisation, progress toward Wales’ goal of achieving Net Zero housing.

The use and view technology to support health and well-being in Carmarthenshire

In preparation of the opening of Canolfan, Pentre Awel, Carmarthenshire County Council and Swansea University are working on a joint research project together to explore and understand how the communities of Carmarthenshire use and view technology to support health and well-being. This opportunity allows for Carmarthenshire County Council to work individually or in collaboration with other organisations to provide support to the communities of Carmarthenshire whether that’s holding classes on using technology from beginner to advance or supporting in developing new innovative products, services, or treatments to ensure that we put the health and lives of the communities first. The survey will only take approximately 5 minutes to complete

Local Places for Nature Survey Questionnaire

This short survey helps us to build a better understanding of local people's interests and attitudes in regards to their community and the natural environment. The more we can gather people's views, the more we can work together to improve green spaces in Carmarthenshire for everyone!

Local places for nature

Local Places for Nature is a Welsh Government programme, aimed at creating and supporting projects to restore and enhance nature within local communities. The project focuses on areas of high deprivation and those with the least access to nature in Wales, particularly within urban and peri-urban environments. A branch of this funding is managed by the Local Nature Partnership (LNP) Cymru Project. Across Carmarthenshire, a variety of projects are being delivered in partnership with the County Council and its own Local Nature Partnership.
